Frequently Asked Questions
UV DTF stickers work best on smooth, hard surfaces — glass, ceramic, plastic, metal, acrylic, powder-coated items and more. They are not suitable for fabric or rough/textured surfaces.
Yes — UV DTF stickers are fully waterproof and resistant to moisture. They are safe for mugs and water bottles (hand wash recommended, not dishwasher safe).
Follow these steps for a perfect, bubble-free application:
- Clean the surface — Wipe thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol to remove all oils, dust and moisture. Allow to dry completely before applying.
- Position the sticker — Place the sticker face-down on the surface and align it before pressing. Keep it flat and parallel to the surface at all times.
- Press from centre outward — Using a card or your thumb, press firmly from the centre and work your way outward to both sides. This pushes air bubbles out to the edges.
- Peel slowly from one side — Start peeling the backing film from one corner, keeping the film as flat and close to the surface as possible. Never pull upward — pull back at a low angle.
- Smooth down edges — Once the backing is removed, press down the edges firmly to ensure full adhesion.
No heat required. Allow 24 hours before exposing to water for best adhesion.
UV DTF stickers are highly durable indoors. For outdoor use, they can last 1–2 years depending on UV and weather exposure. Indoor stickers on mugs and bottles last much longer.
