Intellectual Property & Artwork Policy

This policy is critical. By submitting artwork to EU PrintLab, you accept full legal responsibility for ensuring that all content is lawful and does not infringe any third-party rights.

1. Customer Responsibility for Submitted Artwork

By submitting artwork, logos, images, or any other content to EU PrintLab for printing, you confirm and warrant that:

  • You are the original owner of the artwork, or
  • You have been granted explicit written permission by the rights holder to reproduce and print the content
  • The artwork does not infringe any copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights of any third party
  • The artwork does not contain any unlawful, offensive, defamatory, or obscene content

2. Prohibited Content

EU PrintLab will not knowingly print the following:

  • Registered trademarks or brand logos without written authorisation from the brand owner (e.g. Nike, Adidas, Disney, sports teams, etc.)
  • Copyrighted artwork, photography, or illustrations without a valid licence
  • Content that is racially offensive, hateful, or discriminatory
  • Sexually explicit or pornographic content
  • Content that glorifies or promotes illegal activity
  • Content that defames or violates the privacy of any individual
EU PrintLab reserves the right to refuse any order at our discretion if we believe the artwork may infringe intellectual property rights or violates our content guidelines, without being required to give detailed reasons.

3. EU PrintLab's Intellectual Property

All original designs, artwork, templates, and branded content created by EU PrintLab remain the exclusive intellectual property of Everything Unique Creations (Pty) Ltd. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use our designs without our prior written consent.

4. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EU PrintLab and Everything Unique Creations (Pty) Ltd from any claims, damages, costs, or legal proceedings arising from your submission of artwork that infringes any third-party intellectual property rights or violates any applicable law. This includes all legal costs incurred in defending such claims.

5. File Submission Guidelines

To ensure the best print quality, please submit your artwork in accordance with the following guidelines:

Requirement Specification
Preferred file formats PDF, PNG, AI, EPS (high resolution)
Minimum resolution 300 DPI at print size
Colour mode CMYK preferred (RGB accepted — minor colour shifts may occur)
Background Transparent PNG for DTF transfers. White or coloured background for UV DTF stickers.
Bleed 2mm bleed on all sides for stickers and decals
File size limit Maximum 100MB per file upload
If you are unsure about your file format or resolution, please contact us before ordering. We will advise you before production begins if your file does not meet our minimum requirements.

6. Storage of Artwork Files

EU PrintLab may store your submitted artwork files for operational purposes. We will not use your artwork for any purpose other than fulfilling your order. Your files will not be shared with any third party other than as required to fulfil your order. You may request deletion of your files at any time by contacting us.
